Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and the Postmotion team ("we") for using Postmotion. By creating an account you accept them.

The service

Postmotion makes motion-graphics videos from your descriptions, data, pictures, and audio. Claude, an AI model, drafts plans and writes or changes videos; automatic checks look for overlapping text, cut-off words, and low contrast before you see a version. We keep improving the service, so features may change.

Your account

• Give a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
• One person per account. You must be at least 13, or older where your country requires it.
• You can delete your account at any time from Your account.

Your content

• You keep the rights to what you upload and to the videos you make. We use your content only to provide Postmotion to you, as described in the privacy policy.
• You need the rights to what you upload: pictures, audio, and data. Pictures fetched from a link you paste count as uploaded by you. Fan art, game and anime characters, brand logos, and music usually belong to someone else; using them is your responsibility.
• Check the numbers. Plans drafted by Claude can contain mistakes, especially figures it didn't take from your files; the plan tells you which to check. You're responsible for what your published videos say.

What you may not do

• Make videos that are illegal, infringe others' rights, harass or threaten people, or spread content meant to deceive (for example presenting invented figures as official data).
• Upload malware, or try to break into, overload, or scrape the service, or get around its limits.
• Resell access to Postmotion or use it to build a competing service.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Plans and payment

Postmotion is paid: making videos takes credits, and there is no free plan. Payments are made to Polar (polar.sh), which sells the plans as the merchant of record; the price and tax shown at checkout apply. A plan renews every month, or every year when you pay yearly, and adds its credits each time (a yearly plan adds the whole year's credits at once), until you cancel it from your account page. Credits you don't use stay on your account while it exists. Deleting your account ends your plan and removes your remaining credits.

Refunds: we don't refund a payment once any of its credits have been used. To ask about a payment whose credits are untouched, write to admin@postmotion.app.

No guarantees

Postmotion is provided as it is. We work to keep it available and your work safe, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that every video will turn out as you intended. Keep copies of exports you need.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Ending

You can stop using Postmotion and delete your account whenever you like. We may end the service or an account with notice, or right away for serious breaches of these terms.

Changes, law, and contact

If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and tell account holders by email. These terms are governed by the law of Indonesia. Questions: admin@postmotion.app.
